The work of SUCRECUBE Japon is shared between three companies, in Japan, Senegal and France. Depending on the project, the contracting party is the Japanese company or the Senegalese company.

The Japanese company (head office)

SUCRECUBE Japon Inc. was established in Tokyo in April 2018. Its origin is SUCRECUBE Technologies, founded in France in 2008. As the group head office, it designs the projects and signs the contracts with Japanese ministries, companies and international organisations.

The Senegalese company (implementation and operation)

TUMIQUI JAPON SASU is the wholly owned subsidiary established in Sandiara in January 2020. The company was set up locally so that the equipment would keep running after installation. It installs and maintains the TUMIQUI Smart Kits, builds and operates the solar cold storage and processing sites in Sandiara, and trains local staff. Day-to-day contact with Senegalese ministries and local authorities goes through this company.

The French company (sister company)

SUCRECUBE Technologies is an ICT company established in Paris in 2008. It is the sister company of SUCRECUBE Japon and is not part of its consolidated group. Alongside its own business in Europe, it selects and procures equipment for the group’s projects and provides access to the European market. It also leads the evaluation of Senegalese mango products on the European market.

Why three countries

SUCRECUBE Japon is a Japanese company that grew out of an ICT business based in France. Many West African countries have French as an official language and keep administrative and commercial rules close to those of France. The French company has worked with these countries in the same language and under the same rules since it was founded.

Between Japan and West Africa, both the distance and the differences in rules are large. The group therefore divided the work. Design in Japan, equipment and market access in France, construction and operation in Senegal. The three companies are that division of work in corporate form.

The capital relationships are as follows. SUCRECUBE Japon holds 100% of the shares of TUMIQUI JAPON SASU. SUCRECUBE Technologies is a sister company and is not consolidated by SUCRECUBE Japon.
