About SUCRECUBE Japon
SUCRECUBE Japon was established in Tokyo in 2018. Its origin is SUCRECUBE Technologies, an ICT company founded in France in 2008.
In May 2019, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Health of Senegal and began placing solar power units in health posts without electricity. So that the equipment would keep running after installation, the company set up a wholly owned subsidiary in Sandiara in January 2020, TUMIQUI JAPON SASU. Maintenance and training are carried out from Senegal by a Senegalese team.
The business today has four lines. Manufacture and sale of the TUMIQUI Smart Kit portable solar power unit. Sale of solar-powered cold storage containers and processing units. Processing and export of Senegalese mango. Field trials of distributed ICT infrastructure (X-ICS). The TUMIQUI Smart Kit has been delivered to UNICEF Gambia in 147 units and is in use in 122 schools. In Sandiara, two sites run 24 hours a day on solar power and batteries, with no grid connection.
The three companies in Japan, Senegal and France share the work of design, on-site construction and maintenance, and access to the European market.
